THESES RULES ARE FOR THE 2006 SEASON_ SPRINTS AND DWARF MODS CHECK WITH TRACK
Car Setup and Safety
must be a Chevette or Pontiac body.
All cars must have a 6 point roll cage in car (extra bracing allowed) all bars must be a minimum of 1 ¼ by 80 Thousands I.D.
All cars must have 3 bars a across drivers area.
Stock automatic transmission or standards shift transmission only (no modified transmission).
All glass, headlights, taillights, door handles, trim, and anything that could be torn or fall from car must be removed.
All interior must be removed. Stock Class may use stock or racing seats with a 5 point harness. Open Class must have a racing seat with a 5 point harness.
All helmets must be D.O.T. certified with face shield or goggles.
All drivers must have a certified fire suit.
All bumpers must be cut, bent in, and welded. Must not exceed the body of the car.
Any sharp edges must be ground down to avoid cutting tires or hanging another car.
No original gas tanks allowed in car. Plastic or metal fuel cells. Must be secured by a ½” 16 gauge metal strap. Must be covered to keep from getting fuel to driver in case of turn over.
Batteries may be bolted inside of car behind drivers seat secured and covered from flying around car.
The entire windshield must be screened 7/16” rebar minimum of 2 bars in front of driver 12” or less apart.
Drivers side working window net required. (No screens)
No spacers of any kind allowed in spring suspension.
Weights attached to axle must not exceed rim of tire. (No concrete or bells allowed) All Weights must secure at all times on cars, must be painted white with car numbers on them.
All doors must be welded or bolted shut (No screws)
No mirrors allowed of any kind.
All cars must have working brakes (We will test them)
All cars must have working fire extinguisher within easy reach of the driver while you are strapped in.
Hoods must be pinned down (Easy access to track officials in case of emergency)
All cars must have all body parts (fenders, hoods, etc.)
All cars are to be inspected before first points event.

Macon County Speedway
Stock Class
60, 70, or 80 series tires only. No 50 series allowed.
All tires must be 13”
1” lug nuts all around.
No wheels over 7”, racing wheels allowed.
Cars must have OEM factory suspension. Heating and lowering is allowed. You must use stock shocks. No racing shocks or springs allowed. All shocks must be stock mounted, no adjustable A-Frames.
All components under hood must be stock including coil. Ignition switch must be labeled in red somewhere on dash for easy reach to track officials.
No electric fuel pumps.
No racing cams (No work done to cams)
Engine must be stock. Heads must be 3 ½” height and the engine bored to .30 over, the max. allowed. No porting or polishing of any part of the head, engine, or carburetor. No shaving pistons top or bottom, must be able to see eyebrow.
If engine is 1.6, it must have 1.6 pistons and crank. If it is 1.4, it must have 1.4 pistons and crank.
All parts on heads must remain stock.
No balancing engine.
Stock carburetor only, no spacer plates, no work on carburetors, no porting or polishing on the carburetor.
Spring Spacers- Nothing that twist in.
Headers allowed.
No alcohol, gas only.
Stock flywheel 1” thick.
Cars need to look good.
Cars must pull from 12 to 15 pounds, no more, no less (vacuum) 2500 RPM.
Stock crank and pistons. Rotating assembly must be stock.
Pistons stock. No balancing, no shaving on crank.
Car can be held for up to 3 days.
Weight minimum 2,000 pounds.
You will run the class that you enter in. If you move up a class, you will not be able to go back down a class.

NO SUSPENSION FRAMES OR ADJUSTABLE FRAMES.
